Requirements

  • 25 years of HR experience (manufacturing environment preferred)
  • Solid understanding of HR practices, compliance, and employee relations
  • Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism and confidentiality
  • Strong judgmentyou can support decisions and follow through effectively
  • Organized and detail-focused, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Strong communication skills across all levels of the organization
  • Experience with HRIS systems (ADP Workforce Now a plus)
  • Bachelors degree in HR, Business, or related field preferred

  • HR certification is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a go-to support resource for employee questions, concerns, and guidance
  • Assist in handling employee relations mattersensuring fair, consistent, and timely follow-up
  • Support Talent Acquisition efforts, including recruiting coordination, hiring, and onboarding
  • Help facilitate new hire orientation and onboarding experiences
  • Partner with the Benefits Manager to support benefits administration, open enrollment, and employee questions
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and HR best practices
  • Assist in maintaining and updating HR policies, procedures, and documentation
  • Support audits, reporting, and compliance filings (EEO, AAP, etc.)
  • Assist with performance management processes, employee development, and corrective actions
  • Provide back-up support for payroll and timekeeping processes
  • Maintain accurate HR records and reporting (turnover, attendance, headcount)
  • Partner with safety and production teams to support OSHA compliance and workplace safety initiatives
  • Support processes related to workers compensation, FMLA, and unemployment
