About The Position

The HR Generalist serves as a key partner to the Georgia facility, supporting day-to-day human resources operations and ensuring alignment with company policies, practices, and strategic objectives. Reporting to the HR Manager – East Region, this role provides comprehensive HR support including teammate relations, recruitment, onboarding, compliance, performance management, and benefits administration. The HR Generalist acts as a resource for teammates and supervisors, promoting a positive work environment, ensuring consistent application of policies, and supporting workforce planning and development initiatives. This position plays a critical role in maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws while driving HR programs that enhance teammate engagement and operational effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of general human resources policies and procedures.
  • Strong working knowledge of employment/labor laws.
  • Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations payroll, HRIS and talent management system (ADPWFN).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Desire to work as a team with a results driven approach.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.

  • 5+ years of proven experience as an HR Generalist.

Responsibilities

  • Support day-to-day HR operations and serve as a point of contact forteammates and supervisors
  • Administer and support full-cycle recruitment (job postings, screening, interviews, offers, onboarding)
  • Facilitate new hire onboarding and orientation to ensure a smoothteammateexperience
  • Provide guidance on company policies, procedures, and HR best practices
  • Manageteammaterelations issues, including investigations, conflict resolution, and corrective actions
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies
  • Maintain and updateteammate records, HRIS data, and personnel files
  • Assist with performance management processes, including reviews and coaching support
  • Coordinate and support training and development initiatives
  • Administerteammatebenefits programs and assist with open enrollment
  • Support payroll processes by ensuring accurate and timely data submission
  • Monitor attendance, leaves of absence, andaccommodation(FMLA, ADA, etc.)
  • Analyze HR metrics and provide reporting to support decision-making
  • Partner with leadership to support workforce planning and organizational changes
  • Promoteteammateengagement initiatives and a positive workplace culture
  • Assist with audits, compliance reporting, and documentation
  • Participatein HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives
