Requirements

  • Prior HR experience in benefits, compliance, and employee relations (required)
  • Excellent time and task management with the ability to adapt to changing priorities
  • Strong initiative, problem-solving skills, and self-motivation
  • Effective relationship-building and communication skills
  • HR analytics proficiency with strong attention to detail
  • Comfortable with HRIS and other HR software tools

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree or HR certification preferred; relevant experience can substitute

Responsibilities

  • Manage employee benefits, maintain personnel and medical records, support HRIS updates, and assist with open enrollment.
  • Handle corporate insurance claims, maintain accurate documentation, ensure labor law compliance, and manage certifications/licenses.
  • Oversee driver files, schedule DOT physicals, track expirations, manage OSHA reporting, and coordinate PPE and Boot/Tool programs.
  • Facilitate smooth onboarding for new Team MATEs, ensure proper documentation, and track completion of safety training.
  • Support performance management, training initiatives, employee engagement programs, and track HR metrics/KPIs.

Benefits

  • Competitive Salary: $63,000 – $78,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
  • Work Schedule Perk: This is a full-time, Monday–Friday position. In-office days are set for Tuesdays and Wednesdays at our Easton, MD corporate office, with additional days in the office as needed. A company laptop is provided for work outside the office.
