With 100+ locations and over 400 OB/GYNs and specialists across the country, Women’s Care provides comprehensive patient care in obstetrics, gynecology, gynecologic oncology, urogynecology, gynecologic pathology, breast surgery, genetic counseling, maternal fetal medicine, laboratory services, and fertility. The HR Generalist will assist the HR department in carrying out programs, processes, policies, and procedures including duties related to employee engagement, retention, onboarding, training, benefit administration, FMLA/leave of absence administration, employee recordkeeping, and compliance with state and federal employment laws. The HR Generalist will process employee records in accordance with employment regulations, support the performance management process, assist leadership in disciplinary management and assist with the preparation and maintenance of HR policies/procedures including the employee handbook. This position will be onsite at our Corporate Support Center in Tampa (Westshore area). Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development. Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff. Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations. Prepares detailed reports on various HR metrics for internal use and leadership. Creates, implements and/or facilitates employee training and development sessions. Manages personnel file maintenance and assists with all required auditing preparation and delivery. Assists with preparation and maintenance of company policies and employee handbook. Participates in process improvement activities and works in conjunction with HR team to build and enhance HR processes. Involvement in onboarding and exit Interviews. Creates and distributes internal communications regarding status changes, benefits, or company policies. Monitors and assists with enhancement of employee engagement and company culture. Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance. Stays up to date with trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources and talent management. Demonstrates and embodies the Women’s Care mission and core values. Compliance with all HIPAA rules, regulations, and guidelines. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Human Resources, or related field required.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in Human Resources.
  • Experience working with HRIS systems required; Paycom a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written skills; strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Outstanding ability to manage and multi-task work in a strong-paced environment.
  • Outstanding analytical and research skills.

Nice To Haves

  • PHR or SPHR certification preferred.
  • Experience working with HRIS systems required; Paycom a plus.
