This position is responsible for assisting with and processing routine HR transactions for TEAMS, OPS, GRA, and volunteer populations in coordination with the department HR team. It supports recruitment and hiring activities, including preparing and routing hiring requests, assisting with job postings, coordinating background checks and verification requests, preparing draft offer letters, and helping process new hires, terminations, appointment changes, and renewals. The role also assists with processing FTE changes, salary changes, and other personnel-related actions in myUFL and related systems, while maintaining awareness of department, college, and university policies and procedures to ensure HR actions are completed accurately and on time. Additionally, the position coordinates onboarding and offboarding support, assists with payroll-related support and routine pay-impacting actions, and coordinates I-9 verification and related onboarding compliance steps. The role establishes and maintains confidential personnel files and electronic HR records, maintains HR tracking tools, and supports HR compliance-related processes. It also provides limited administrative support related to foreign national hires and renewals, processes and tracks volunteer appointments, and provides general departmental HR support. The expected salary range is $22.05 - $28.75.
