The Department of Human Resources at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University is seeking a full-time Personnel Assistant / HR Generalist Coordinator. The Human Resources Generalist/Coordinator will be responsible for supporting Human Resources function by coordinating and administering activities across the employee life cycle, including records management, compliance, staff development, performance management, offboarding, onboarding, employment transactions, and HR systems support. This role exercises independent judgment, maintains a high level of confidentiality, and contributes to the effective and efficient delivery of HR services within a higher education and healthcare environment.
