About The Position

The Central Services Division (CSD) team works in partnership with agency divisions providing coaching on human resource policies and procedures, financial management and adherence to fiscal responsibility. We value and respect our fellow team members across the Montana Department of Justice. The Human Resources Generalist 1 is responsible for a wide variety of tasks to support the daily operations in HR.

Requirements

  • Associates degree in related field
  • Two years of relevant experience

Responsibilities

  • Support the daily operations in HR
  • Manage HR metrics
  • Post positions
  • Screen applications
  • Interview for all of DOJ’s divisions positions
  • Manage paper or electronic filing systems
  • Record information
  • Conduct new employee orientation
  • Assist with the HR email inbox
  • Process confidential information
  • Manage DocuSign
  • Conduct Ergonomic Assessments
