About The Position

This role offers the opportunity to gain skills in understanding federal, state, and local employment laws, using basic Microsoft Office Suite and workforce management programs, and effectively using scheduling software.

Requirements

  • Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and other team members.
  • Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners, and other technology equipment as directed.

  • Ability to resolve guest questions quickly on the spot.

  • Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes.
  • Accurately handle cash register operations as needed.
  • Frequently lifting or moving merchandise up to 10 pounds and occasionally lifting or moving merchandise up to 44 pounds, without additional assistance from others.
  • Capable of working in and exposure to varying temperatures, humidity, and other elements while performing certain job duties including but not limited to Drive-Up, carryout, etc.
  • Ability to remain mobile for the duration of a scheduled shift (shift length may vary).
  • Flexible work schedule (e.g., nights, weekends and holidays); come to work when scheduled, work scheduled shifts and take required meal and rest breaks.

Responsibilities

  • Create an Easy, Inspiring and Friendly guest experience by delivering on commitments such as greeting guests, helping them find what they need, resolving issues, and ending transactions with a sincere thank you.
  • Actively support team efforts and assist peers in other areas while maintaining a positive and respectful attitude.
  • Adjust to business and guest needs to deliver an easy and inspiring guest experience.
  • Work with HR leaders to anticipate and address specific talent and staffing needs for each area of the business, ensuring the right mix of experience and skills to deliver on in-store and digital shopping experiences.
  • Lead focused recruiting efforts to help store leaders find and hire candidates.
  • Support team member and leader training needs and advocate for continuous learning.
  • Serve as an expert resource for scheduling systems and pay practices.
  • Be approachable and available by listening to team members and collaborating with appropriate leaders to take action.
  • Deliver on all Human Resources processes and programs to maximize team member engagement and minimize business disruption.
  • Support leaders in following company compliance policies that mitigate risk to the team member experience.
  • Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance.
  • Work in a safe manner at all times, comply with all safety policies, best practices, and training, and report hazards and correct them where possible.
  • Perform other duties based on business needs.
