About The Position

Human Resources Director Amoroso Woodridge is seeking an experienced, strategic, and employee-focused Human Resources Director to lead our HR department. This role is critical to maintaining our core values, where compassion meets excellence in care. The ideal candidate brings deep experience in labor relations and collective bargaining management. You will serve as the key bridge between executive leadership, department heads, and union representatives. Your mission is to foster a collaborative culture while ensuring full regulatory compliance.

Requirements

Minimum of 3 years in human resources management, with at least 1 year in skilled nursing/healthcare experience and collective bargaining.
Knowledge of labor laws, contract administration, grievance procedures, and collective bargaining tactics.
Exceptional negotiation skills, high emotional intelligence, and a proven track record of building trust across all organization levels.

Responsibilities

Manage recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and workforce development initiatives.
Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with facility goals, focusing on talent retention and employee engagement.
Ensure strict adherence to federal, state, local, and healthcare-specific labor regulations.
Mitigate workplace issues impartially, ensuring fair treatment and adherence to both company policies and union contracts.
Serve as the primary point of contact for union representatives, manage grievances, and lead collective bargaining agreement (CBA) negotiations.
