About The Position

Spring Mountain Treatment Center is a 110-bed mental health facility that has been providing acute crisis stabilization services for adults, teens, and children in a secure inpatient setting since 2001. We are seeking a dynamic and talented Human Resources Director to join our team! We are looking for a forward thinking Director of Human Resources to be part of our Leadership Team. Reporting directly to the CEO, this position ensures HR activities are in compliance with State and Federal laws, licensing and accreditation bodies, and facility contracts. Oversees and is hands-on in all HR functions including recruitment, compensation, benefits, training/orientation, employee relations, workers’ compensation and maintaining all personnel records in files and the HRIS system. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field required.
  • A minimum of 8 years of Human Resources experience
  • Previous supervisory/management experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are required and an understanding of Federal and State employment laws and regulations related to HR.
  • Working knowledge of administering wage/salary programs, benefits, workers compensation, recruiting/retention plans, training/staff development, and employee relations.
  • Requires leadership, organizational, supervisory and administrative abilities including excellent computer skills and knowledge of various software, internet-based HR systems and email.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's Degree preferred.
  • previous healthcare experience preferred.
  • HR Certification (through HRCI or SHRM) preferred.
