About The Position

The Human Resources Coordinator plays a key role in supporting and facilitating HR processes across all business locations. This position is responsible for administering employee health and welfare plans, serving as a liaison between employees and insurance providers, and ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations. This role is highly administrative and detail-oriented, providing critical support across HR functions including benefits, onboarding, recruitment coordination, and HRIS management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of related HR or administrative experience.
  • Working knowledge of HR principles, practices, and procedures.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc.)

Nice To Haves

  • SHRM-CP certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Administer employee health and welfare plans, including enrollments, changes, and terminations.
  • Process benefits documentation with payroll and insurance providers to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for employee questions related to HR programs and benefits.
  • Complete and maintain Form I-9 documentation in compliance with federal requirements.
  • Coordinate background checks and submit investigation requests for new hires.
  • Reconcile benefits statements and assist with audits of payroll, benefits, and HR programs.
  • Support employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, performance reviews, and terminations.
  • Assist with recruitment efforts by scheduling interviews, tracking candidate status in HRIS, and managing candidate communications.
  • Coordinate employee travel arrangements and logistics as needed.
  • Maintain accurate employee records, files, and HR documentation.
  • Provide general administrative support, including scheduling meetings, preparing correspondence, and managing documentation.
  • Perform additional HR and administrative duties as assigned.
