About The Position

The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for data entry into the HRIS and serve as an expert user in the ATS People System. The HR Coordinator will be responsible for creating and updating employee’s digital files and support the HR team, employees, and division in needed areas. ATS Industrial Automation is an industry-leading automation solutions provider with over 40 years of experience. We create custom automation, repeat automation, and services in industries such as transportation, consumer products, and energy. Requirements

  • Minimum of two years in coordinating and providing related human resources administration services.
  • Strong knowledge in Microsoft Office products and Internet research skills are required.
  • High level of attention to detail and troubleshooting.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple work priorities.
  • The employee may be required to stand, walk, push, pull, reach overhead, and bend to the floor.
  • Exert up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or exert up to 10 pounds of force frequently.
  • Visual Acuity – Normal requirements for reading written instructions and computer screens
  • Hearing Ability – Normal requirements for understanding verbal instructions.
  • Work in compliance with divisional health, safety and environmental procedures
  • Refrain from removing or altering safety devices or guarding unless hazardous energies are controlled through lockout-tagout methods
  • Report any unsafe conditions or unsafe acts
  • Report defect in any equipment or protective device
  • Ensure that the required protective equipment is used for the assigned tasks
  • Attend all required health, safety and environmental training
  • Report any accidents/incidents to supervisor
  • Assist in investigating accidents/incidents
  • Refrain from engaging in any prank, contest, feat of strength, unnecessary running or rough and boisterous conduct.

Nice To Haves

  • A post-secondary degree specializing in Human Resource or equivalent experience with certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage employee changes in the ATS People system.
  • Set up and maintain employee digital files.
  • Set up and maintain the Contractor Manager System.
  • Assist with candidates’ background checks and reference checks.
  • Respond to requests for reference checks and employment verifications.
  • Actively participate in ABM Problem Solving or Kaizen events.
  • Assist Training Coordinator with Employee Training Record retention.
  • Manage employee engagement activities.
  • Ensure that all business activities are performed with highest ethical standards and in compliance with the ATS Code of Business Conduct.
  • Run ad-hoc system reports as needed.
