About The Position

The HR Coordinator supports the daily operations of Human Resources. This role is responsible for coordinating payroll activities and supporting key HR processes across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, employee relations, and cross-functional coordination. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • 2+ years of experience in HR, people operations, or administrative coordination.
  • Proficiency with UKG or similar HRIS systems.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask.
  • Proficient in Excel, Outlook, and HR technology platforms.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and sound judgment.

Responsibilities

  • Process bi-weekly payroll, including reviewing and auditing timesheets, earnings, and deductions to ensure accuracy and compliance with all applicable regulations.
  • Generate, analyze, and validate payroll reports; resolve discrepancies in partnership with Payroll and Finance
  • Update employee data within HRIS (UKG), ensuring accuracy across payroll, status changes, and personal information.
  • Coordinate HR workflows across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, job changes, and offboarding.
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee payroll and HR-related inquiries, supporting employee relations as needed.
  • Manage and distribute employee-related requests, prioritizing based on urgency and ensuring timely follow-up across departments.
  • Facilitate cross-functional coordination for employee updates, partnering with teams such as IT, Benefits, and Recruitment
  • Monitor and manage the HR inbox, including employment verifications and general inquiries.
  • Support internal communications and engagement initiatives, including newsletters, announcements, and employee recognition efforts.
  • Assist with reporting and audits, including monthly metrics and year-end payroll activities (W-2s, audits, etc.)
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment and payroll regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
