About The Position

The Human Resources Coordinator plays a central role in keeping our Human Resources operations running smoothly. This position provides day-to-day administrative support, maintains accurate employee records, and helps ensure compliance with company policies and regulations. As a key point of contact for employees and managers, the Human Resources Coordinator helps create a positive, consistent experience while supporting the fair and effective application of HR processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • 1–3 years of experience in an HR or administrative support role preferred.
  • HR certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) is preferred but not required.
  • Experience working with ADP or a similar HRIS/payroll system.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist employees and visitors to HR in a professional, welcoming manner.
  • Support day-to-day HR operations while ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Keep employee records accurate and up to date within HRIS systems.
  • Assist with benefits programs and respond to employee questions.
  • Help coordinate employee engagement activities and wellness initiatives.
  • Track hires, terminations, PTO, and attendance.
  • Prepare HR reports and documentation as needed.
  • Handle government compliance reporting, including EEO-1, EPRC, IDES claims, and other required reports.
  • Support corporate policies and partner with managers to apply them fairly and consistently.
  • Assist with DEIB initiatives, employee events, and special projects as needed.
  • Manage HR paperwork, including processing, filing, and shredding.
  • Collaborate closely with the HR team.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and security of employee and HR data.
  • Take on additional duties as assigned.
