About The Position

Aston Carter's client in Burnaby is seeking a Human Resources Administrator to join their team on a part time basis! This role involves serving as an administrator for the POS (People System), managing configurations, policies, permissions, and security. It also includes managing employee lifecycle changes, championing data governance, ensuring privacy compliance, generating reports, conducting data audits, providing operational support, maintaining digital employee files, administering benefits initiatives, and managing the group retirement savings program.

Requirements

  • 3 years of People Operations experience (focus on POS administration, data management and core talent processes).
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Intermediate proficiency with MS Office and Google Sheets

Responsibilities

  • Serve as an administrator for the POS, managing configurations, policies, permissions, and security to ensure a dependable and secure environment.
  • Process all employee lifecycle changes (onboarding, transfers, compensation changes, promotions and offboarding) in the POS with impeccable accuracy, ensuring seamless downstream data flow.
  • Champion and enforce strong data governance to ensure all global people records remain highly accurate, auditable and reliable.
  • Ensure POS configuration, access controls and data management workflows meet or exceed strict global privacy regulations (such as GDPR) and diverse regional employment legislation.
  • Generate and maintain existing monthly reports that translate raw people metrics into predictive, actionable insights for leaders.
  • Manage monthly and quarterly data audits across People systems, working relentlessly with internal and external stakeholders to resolve errors and review findings.
  • Act as a helpful and consultative primary point of contact for employee inquiries ensuring absolute discretion and security with highly sensitive data.
  • Maintain digital employee files and ensure all documentation meets local and federal labor law requirements.
  • Act as the primary program administrator for benefits initiatives, managing employee changes, claims and health-related leaves.
  • Drive and manage the group retirement savings program for our Canada and US employees.
