About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Human Resources Coordinator to support the day-to-day administration of HR processes across the employee lifecycle. This role will be responsible for coordinating onboarding, training setup, internal employee changes, offboarding, and routine HR support activities, while working under the oversight and direction of HR leadership. This position will also assist with non-union recruiting on an as-needed basis, including coordinating with hiring managers, candidates, and outside recruiting partners. The Human Resources Coordinator will help ensure HR processes are completed accurately, timely, and consistently, while escalating issues or situations that require higher-level review, discretion, or strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate is organized, responsive, service-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple moving parts while maintaining confidentiality and strong attention to detail.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of HR administrative, HR coordination, or related experience preferred.
  • Experience supporting onboarding, employee records, and HR process administration strongly preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and comfort using HRIS, applicant tracking systems, and related platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Support the day-to-day administration of HR processes under the guidance of HR leadership.
  • Lead the employee lifecycle such as onboarding, internal changes, and offboarding.
  • Assist with non-union recruiting on an as-needed basis, including posting jobs, coordinating candidates, scheduling interviews, and maintaining communication throughout the hiring process.
  • Serve as a point of contact for routine employee HR questions and direct more sensitive or higher-level matters to HR leadership.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and ensure HR documentation is up to date.
  • Support training initiatives and help track participation, scheduling, and completion.
  • Assist with compliance-related administrative tasks, including labor law postings, required notices, and other routine HR compliance duties.
  • Coordinate with outside recruiting partners as needed and help manage recruiting workflow updates.
  • Escalate employee issues, process exceptions, and sensitive matters to HR leadership when appropriate.
