About The Position

Serves as a primary contact for faculty, staff, union, and students regarding all payroll actions and issues and provides support and guidance. Reviews and corrects record changes, payroll actions, employment forms, and payroll registers. Approves recruitment actions, requests, and reclassifications; onboards new and rehired faculty, staff, and students. Performs data entry and maintains all filing systems. Ensures accuracy and compliance with policies and regulations.

Requirements

  • Experience with payroll actions and issues.
  • Ability to review and correct record changes, payroll actions, employment forms, and payroll registers.
  • Experience approving recruitment actions, requests, and reclassifications.
  • Experience onboarding new and rehired employees.
  • Data entry skills.
  • Filing system maintenance skills.
  • Knowledge of policies and regulations.
