About The Position

This position provides an opportunity to transition from other private, public, government or military environments to a 3M career. As a Human Resources Coordinator, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by: Coordinating accurate and timely administration of complex and highly confidential information related to compensation, benefits, performance, and other areas of HR. Communicating tactfully and professionally at all levels and exercising discretion concerning confidential and sensitive information. Providing guidance and support to all employees and management, conducting orientations and training, preparing employee engagement activities, and other related activities. Influencing the enforcement and adherence to policies, as well as exercising the authority to independently act within those guidelines.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
  • Three (3) combined years of experience in human resources, administrative support, and/or clerical role in a private, public, government or military environment
  • Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).
  • Responsibilities of this position may include direct and/or indirect physical or logical access to information, systems, technologies subjected to the regulations/compliance with U.S. Export Control Laws.
  • Failure to provide the necessary information in this regard will result in our inability to consider you further for this particular position.

Nice To Haves

  • Possess expertise or education equivalent to that which would be obtained in a bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
  • Experience using HR systems, including Workday
  • Advanced experience in the HR function
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information
  • Ability and willingness to resolve employee issues and exercise judgement to elevate when necessary
