About The Position

The Hilton Motif Seattle is looking for a talented Human Resources Coordinator to join the team! Located on 5th Avenue in the heart of downtown Seattle, this stylish hotel is nestled between Pike Place Market and Union Street and is surrounded by the city's finest restaurants, shopping, entertainment venues, museums, and attractions. This sleek urban style hotel features amenities including a vibrant newly renovated restaurant offering an extensive outdoor patio with sweeping city views, over 28,000 square feet of meeting space, and 319 thoughtfully designed rooms. A Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Director in the administration of the Human Resources function in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and to maximize profitability.

Requirements

  • At least one (1) year of previous administrative experience.
  • Strong organizational and communications skills are essential for this role.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous Hospitality and Human Resources experience is a PLUS!

Responsibilities

  • Manages the administration of the daily Human Resources operation to include, but not limited to, drafting employment requisitions, onboarding line level team members, training, team member relations, safety committee, HR systems maintenance.
  • Assist with team member relations programs, activities and initiatives to include, but not limited to, holiday functions, team member rallies, community service events, award banquets and special events.
  • Oversee function of the data management system to include, but not limited to, entry of team member data, recording employment transitions (i.e. hire, separation, leaves of absence, etc.), generating reports (i.e. payroll analysis, labor turnover, etc.) and processing unemployment claims.
