Summary: Administers all HR operations and is directly responsible for site(s) within the respective perimeter as well as acts as both a change agent and thought leader for the respective perimeter.

Requirements

BS/BA in human resources, international relations or other business-related field or an equivalent amount of experience and training.
At least 5-7 years of human resource experience.
Fluency in Spanish
SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP)
Knowledge and working with ADP Workforce Now
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Thorough understanding of US, and CA specific employment laws as warranted.
Ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply the appropriate sections of applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, ordinances, and policies.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Responsibilities

Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains new staff
Oversees the daily workflow of the department
Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations
Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with Federal, State, Local Authorities and company policy
Executes payroll
Provides human resources (HR) consultation to a designated business unit.
Uses working knowledge of the business to provide HR support and guidance.
Partners directly with business leaders to define and execute HR strategies that align with business objectives and key initiatives.
Analyzes trends and develops strategies to resolve HR issues and make a positive impact on business results.
Leads organizational assessments that convert strategies into result-driven actions. Provides change-management support as needed.
Acts as a liaison with other HR functions.
