About The Position
Volare Health is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner / HR Generalist to support multiple skilled nursing and rehabilitation facilities in the Oregon market. This hybrid role blends strategic HR partnership with hands-on HR operations and compliance support in a fast-paced, multi-site healthcare environment.
Requirements
- 5+ years of HR experience; healthcare or long-term care experience required
- Experience working with unions and understanding of collective bargaining agreements.
- Strong knowledge of HR compliance and employment law
- ADP experience required; HRIS proficiency preferred
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to thrive in a multi-site, 24/7 healthcare environment
Nice To Haves
- SHRM/HRCI certification preferred
Responsibilities
- Partner with facility and senior leadership on employee relations, performance management, and compliance
- Lead workplace investigations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary review
- Ensure compliance with employment laws, company policies, and CBAs
- Conduct HR audits (personnel files, I-9s, training, background checks)
- Support HR operations including ADP reporting, data accuracy, PTO tracking, and job descriptions
- Collaborate with Recruiting, Benefits, and Payroll teams
- Support employee engagement initiatives, training, and culture efforts
- Travel regularly to assigned facilities for on-site HR support
