About The Position

The HRBP partners closely with management to strengthen organizational and talent capabilities, while shaping and implementing effective HR strategies and programs. This role serves as the primary day-to-day, employee-facing contact for HR support and oversees orientation management for all new hires across the Arizona facilities. The role holder maintains an effective level of business literacy about the Arizona facilities’ operational capabilities, performance, and culture, and plays a key role in achieving the vision, mission, goals, and results of the organization.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of HR experience, working in a business partnership environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, resourcing, employee relations, diversity, performance management, and federal and state respective employment laws.
  • Practitioner level experience with ADP Workforce Now
  • Experience supporting or collaborating in project teams, with a change management focus.
  • Strong writing, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Advanced PC Skills (Windows, Word, Outlook, Excel, PPT).
  • Ability to work effectively independently or in teams.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Professional HR certifications are helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Supports and helps to implement HR initiatives that drive business objectives.
  • Serves as the primary employee-facing HR contact for day-to-day inquiries, support, and issue resolution.
  • Participation in new hire orientation programs for the Arizona sites.
  • Partners with the Arizona HR team and FMI HR colleagues to ensure professional execution of HR programs and practices.
  • Provides HR guidance related to policies, procedures and compliance.
  • Analyzes trends and metrics to develop solutions, programs, and policies.
  • Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough, and objective investigations.
  • Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to employee management.
  • Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation to employee and managers.
  • Supports workforce planning, site restructuring activities, and succession planning.
  • Identifies training needs and coordinates learning programs.
  • Performance additional related duties as assigned.
  • Comply with all environmental, health and safety laws and regulations.
