About The Position

Rocket Youth is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner II to support leaders and employees across multiple business units and locations. This role will serve as both a strategic advisor and hands-on HR partner, helping drive employee engagement, compliance, performance management, and operational effectiveness. The ideal candidate brings strong employee relations experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to navigate a fast-paced, evolving organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • 7+ years of progressive HR experience
  • Experience supporting multi-site or multi-state organizations
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment

Nice To Haves

  • SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or similar HR certification
  • Experience in high-growth or multi-location organizations
  • Experience with UKG or similar HRIS platforms
  • Background in service-based, education, youth programs, or multi-unit operations

Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with leadership teams to support business operations and workforce initiatives
  • Build trusted relationships with employees, managers, and stakeholders across multiple locations
  • Provide guidance on HR policies, procedures, and best practices
  • Support organizational initiatives that strengthen culture, engagement, and retention
  • Manage employee relations matters including investigations, coaching, conflict resolution, and corrective action
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
  • Promote consistent application of company policies and HR processes
  • Assist in maintaining a positive and compliant work environment
  • Support onboarding, training, and employee development programs
  • Assist with HR systems administration and process improvements, including UKG support
  • Provide guidance and troubleshooting related to HR technology platforms
  • Help improve HR workflows and operational efficiency
  • Support employee feedback initiatives and engagement programs
  • Identify workplace trends and recommend improvements
  • Assist leadership with workforce planning and organizational development initiatives
  • Contribute to projects that support company growth and scalability
