In this senior leadership role, you will shape and deliver people strategies that drive business performance, organizational effectiveness, and talent outcomes across Amgen’s Rare Disease Business Unit (RDBU). Reporting directly to the Vice President, Human Resources for Global Markets & Policy and dotted line to the Senior Vice President for Rare Disease, the HR Director works with both the RDBU and Global Markets HR senior teams to drive talent strategy and ongoing transformation of Amgen’s nearly 1,000 person Rare Disease business, with the singular goal of better serving our rare disease patients and customers. As Amgen’s Rare Disease business continues to rapidly scale, this role offers a unique opportunity to contribute directly and meaningfully to Amgen’s overall success, while also being inspired by witnessing directly the benefits to rare disease patients and their caregivers/families. The mission will be palpable every day. In a fast-paced environment, the HR Director delivers practical solutions to complex business and talent challenges and helps leaders navigate growth and change.
