MARYLAND TRANSIT ADMINISTRATION Human Resources Associate (TE) (HR Associate, 1710) This is a temporary employment (TE) opportunity, one-year employment. The Maryland Transit Administration (MTA) is recruiting for an Human Resources Associate (TE). The Human Resources Associate (TE) position provides front-line administrative and operational support for the Human Resources Department and serves as a key support position within the HR administrative team. Reporting directly to the HR Office Manager, this position is responsible for front desk and reception coverage, administrative support functions, coordination of onboarding activities, and assistance with general HR operations and administrative projects. This position also provides administrative support to HR Deputy Directors and assists with maintaining efficient day-to-day office operations to ensure a professional, customer-focused experience for employees, applicants, retirees, vendors, and visitors interacting with the Human Resources Department. The ideal candidate is computer savvy, highly organized, customer-service oriented, detail-focused, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
