About The Position

The Human Resources Assistant will be responsible for supporting various HR functions, including onboarding, record maintenance, payroll processing, and administrative tasks. The position is a contract-to-hire opportunity located in Fresno, CA, and requires bilingual Spanish proficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with onboarding, including preparing new hire documentation, coordinating orientations, and shadowing I-9/E-Verify processes.
  • Maintain and update employee records within HRIS, ensuring strict confidentiality and data integrity.
  • Process payroll, including timekeeping.
  • Alphabetize and file documents into the file cabinet system.
  • Scan and organize employee documents onto the computer according to subject matter.
  • Shred scanned documents after completing necessary verifications.
  • Assist with audits, ranging from bills to employee information.
  • Record performance, incidents, and attendance into employee overviews.
  • Perform other Microsoft Office and HRIS duties/projects as assigned.
