About The Position

The Human Resources Assistant is responsible for the execution and coordination of the Human Resources Function. This position is responsible for performing the administrative functions related to payroll, personnel information and employee documentation.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • One to three years

Responsibilities

  • Ensures all new employees complete appropriate paperwork, schedules and handles new hire and student orientation.
  • Schedules new hire physicals at the appropriate center
  • Ensures all terminated employees complete appropriate paperwork.
  • Verifies attendance, paid time off and all other attendance questions.
  • Maintains current employee roster.
  • Maintains employee files and ensures files are accurate and up to date.
  • Administers annual open enrollment benefit period and processes new hire benefit enrollment.
  • Performs monthly OIG search on all employees.
  • Maintains all affiliation agreements with universities and ensures they are accurate and up to date along with the current certificate of liability insurance.
  • Maintains CME spreadsheet for the Accounting Department.
  • Scan and maintain provider contracts in shared folder for Accounting Manager.
  • Assists Human Resources Officer with administration of pre-employment testing and evaluation.
  • Enters payroll data into computer system. Maintains all appropriate payroll records.
  • Distributes FMLA paperwork to eligible employees and ensures all paperwork is current and up to date; maintains appropriate spreadsheet.
  • Ensures all seniority awards are current and up to date.
  • All other duties are assigned.
