1. Under general direction, performs a full range of administrative support assignments for the department. 2. Completes all unemployment reports and forms in a timely manner. 3. Completes all phases of the onboarding process for part-time employees as well as Federal Work-Studies (e.g. background checks, ADP onboarding, E-Verify, communications with the hire and the hiring department, etc.). 4. Alongside the full-time HR Assistant, covers the front desk and handles front desk duties such as Staff ID Badges and distributing parking passes. 5. Maintains accurate directory information in the HRIS. 6. Orders office supplies. 7. Maintains departmental and employee personnel files, and performs filing tasks on a regular basis. 8. Provides employees or department members with information and directs them to appropriate resources. 9. Performs other duties as assigned.
