About The Position

The Human Resources Analyst is a data-driven HR professional responsible for analyzing, interpreting, and communicating workforce and benefits data to support informed organizational decision-making. This position plays a critical role in benefits research and analysis, HR reporting, workforce analytics, and strategic planning, serving as a key liaison between Human Resources, the organization's benefits broker, vendors, and executive leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, Data Analytics, Statistics, or a related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in HR analytics, benefits, data analysis, compensation, HRIS, or a related analytical role preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience with benefits research, analysis, or administration preferred.
  • Experience working with benefits brokers, vendors, or consultants preferred.
  • Experience with HRIS reporting and data analytics strongly preferred.
  • Experience creating dashboards, presentations, and executive-level reports.
  • HR, benefits, analytics, or related certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Collect, analyze, and interpret HR data to identify trends, opportunities, risks, and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain recurring HR dashboards, reports, metrics, and analytical tools for HR and executive leadership.
  • Analyze workforce trends including headcount, turnover, retention, vacancies, hiring, compensation, demographics, attendance, and other key workforce indicators.
  • Develop meaningful HR metrics and KPIs that support organizational goals and strategic priorities.
  • Translate complex data into clear, concise insights and recommendations for leaders and decision-makers.
  • Conduct ad hoc analyses and provide data-driven responses to business and HR questions.
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy across HR reports and systems.
  • Identify data inconsistencies and work with appropriate stakeholders to resolve issues.
  • Monitor trends over time and provide analysis that helps leadership understand the "why" behind the numbers.
  • Develop executive-ready reports and presentations that clearly communicate findings, trends, and recommendations.
  • Conduct ongoing research and analysis related to employee benefits, industry trends, market competitiveness, plan design, costs, and utilization.
  • Analyze benefit plan performance, participation, utilization, claims trends, costs, and other available data to identify opportunities and potential concerns.
  • Research emerging benefit trends and best practices to help the organization evaluate competitive and sustainable benefit offerings.
  • Support annual benefits planning, renewal, budgeting, and strategic decision-making.
  • Analyze proposed benefit plan changes and their potential financial and employee impact.
  • Conduct cost comparisons and scenario modeling for benefit plan options.
  • Research market data, benchmarking information, and industry practices to support benefit recommendations.
  • Prepare summaries of complex benefits information in a format that is easily understood by leadership.
  • Monitor legislative and regulatory developments that may impact employee benefit programs and communicate relevant information to HR leadership.
  • Assist in evaluating the effectiveness, competitiveness, and overall value of the organization's benefit offerings.
  • All other duties as assigned
