About The Position

The Human Resource (HR) Analyst will collect, compile, and analyze HR data, metrics, and statistics, and apply this data to make recommendations related to recruitment, retention, and legal compliance. The HR Analyst serves as a data expert within the HR department. This position is responsible for internal and external reporting, including staffing, key risk indicators, government, and regulatory reporting schedules.

  • Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn the organization’s HR systems, databases, and reporting tools. Attention to detail, confidentiality, and the ability to manage large datasets.
  • Travel as needed.
  • At least 3-5 years of work experience in the HR field.
  • Undergraduate/BS in Business or any related field is required.

Responsibilities

  • Collects and compiles HR metrics and data from a variety of sources including the human resource information system (HRIS) and payroll outputs, management and employee surveys, exit interviews, employment records, government labor statistics, competitors’ practices, and other sources.
  • Serves as main point of contact for all government required reports (Federal and State).
  • Gather and analyze workforce data, including employee records, turnover, recruitment, absence, headcount, and diversity metrics.
  • Identifies and recommends reasonable short- and long-term goals, milestones, and benchmarks for key performance metrics.
  • Based on metrics and analysis, makes recommendations for policies and activities to improve the organizational culture including suggestions to attract and hire qualified candidates, motivate and retain employees, address staffing issues, and maintain legal compliance.
  • Performs annual compensation benchmarking for the Bank. Compiles all related data including base pay, incentive pay, stock grants, etc. to multiple surveys and analyzes all results for company pay scales.
  • Manages the HR-owned portion of the Bank’s incentive bonus plan. Includes maintaining eligible employee tracking with relevant changes (job, cost center, salary, promotion dates, etc.). Communicate with Executives and managers to capture and review performance scores and approved payouts.
  • Manages and tracks the Bank’s annual goals module within HRIS.
  • Responsible for completion of monthly internal HR reports including management reports.
  • Develop and maintain regular and ad-hoc reports to support HR leadership and line managers.
  • Responsible for monthly general ledger, demand deposit, and billing reconciliation and balancing.
  • Conducts classification audits to ensure that jobs are properly classified as exempt or nonexempt.
  • Analyze and update HR policies, procedures and compensation data to ensure legal compliance.
  • Completes and maintains company’s affirmative action plan.
  • Recommend, create, and implement updates to HR process automation, standardization, and data quality initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Lead and coordinate the completion of internal and external HR audits.
  • Assists management with legal requests and facilitates communication with legal counsel as needed. Collects, reviews, and uploads documents for counsel review. Tracks legal complaints for internal reporting.
  • Review, update, and present results for the internal HR risk and control assessment and HR SOX process narrative.
  • Reviews, responds to, and updates internal HR Incident & Issue reports.
  • Assists with vendor management.
  • Assists employees and management with various HR related questions and or requests.
  • Assists with reviewing, notifying, and tracking employee complaints submitted via the internal complaint platform.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
