As an HR Advisor, you will support the North and Latin America Fitch Ratings' Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) team by using analytics to build reports and presentations that turn data into actionable insights and delivering accurate guidance to employees. You will track project status for HRBP initiatives and provide clear updates to HRBPs and business leaders across all aspects of the employment life cycle. This role is ideal for someone early in their HR career with strong attention to detail and solid data skills who enjoys improving processes and driving measurable outcomes. Requirements

  • 2-3 years of experience in HR advisory/coordination, HR operations, or HRBP support. Basic or developing working knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practice.
  • Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables a plus) and comfort working with HRIS data.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organization, and follow-through; able to meet deadlines and act as a team player.
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint to create clear, executive-ready presentations and visuals that translate data and insights for managers and leaders.
  • Clear communicator with strong customer service mindset and stakeholder management skills.
  • Process improvement and data mindset

Responsibilities

  • Introduction to the world of HR Business Partnering and its impact and role in supporting the business achieve their strategic goals
  • Prepare analyses, coordinate timelines, and create executive-ready views & presentations to inform decisions.
  • Produce ad hoc and standard reports to support business needs; migrate high-value recurring reports to self-service dashboards where feasible.
  • Use data from the HR system to deliver consistent, evidence-based recommendations; capture decisions and outcomes to improve future insights.
  • Act as the first point of contact for employees, first-line and middle managers on queries outside HR Service Center (HRSC) scope.
  • Provide quick, accurate, and consistent advice on position management, onboarding and probation monitoring, policies and procedures, leave and family-friendly matters, and offboarding.
  • Provide guidance and manage caseloads on non-complex employee relations topics (e.g., performance, policy non-compliance), ensuring consistency and timely escalation when needed.
  • Collaborate closely with the HRSC to ensure accurate and timely information on all employment-related changes.
  • Support HRBPs on regional/global initiatives and cyclical activities such as Talent Reviews, Performance Development, and annual compensation.
