About The Position

Trillium is looking for a Human Resources Administrator for our robust and dynamic team! The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about Human Resources, has prior administrative experience and provides exceptional service to our employees.

Requirements

  • Prior administrative experience required (minimum of 6 months)
  • Proficiency in using Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) like Paychex, Paycor, SAP SuccessFactors, Workday, or similar, as well as familiarity with Google Workspace, and other relevant software, is highly desirable
  • Demonstrated experience in handling sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion
  • Efficiently manages tasks with a keen ability to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent in verbal and written communication, ensuring clarity and effectiveness.
  • Prioritizes attention to detail while effectively handling multiple tasks.
  • Quickly adjusts to changes with the ability to pivot as needed.
  • Builds and maintains positive relationships through effective and professional interaction with others.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in supporting recruitment efforts, from posting job ads to scheduling interviews and assisting in the candidate selection process preferred
  • Experience in applying HR policies and legal employment standards, including knowledge of labor laws and regulations, not required but preferred
  • A background in customer service or roles requiring strong interpersonal skills, especially in a diverse environment

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all Human Resources inquiries, effectively managing communications in person at our Canton location, via email, and through our Human Resources Information System (HRIS).
  • Efficiently manage the HR ticketing system by quickly assessing inquiries, providing answers, or directing questions to the Sr. HR Generalist for further assistance.
  • Regularly update and maintain the Employee Benefits Portal, including quarterly reviews of employee benefit eligibility, to ensure accurate and current information is available.
  • Ensure strict confidentiality in all interactions and communications with employees and candidates, maintaining professional integrity and privacy.
  • Organize and maintain physical employee records, ensuring all filing is completed accurately and in a timely manner to uphold office organization standards.
  • Administration of the Paychex Learning Management System (LMS), including the creation and assignment of HR training courses, monitoring completion rates, and managing other LMS-related tasks to promote employee development.
  • Manage various HR-related Google forms, streamlining processes and enhancing data collection methods.
  • Admin completion of annual surveys such as the 401k survey and ACA census, along with any other required data pulls, ensuring compliance and up-to-date records.
  • Lead the creation and distribution of the annual employee engagement survey, contributing to data analysis and insights for continuous improvement.
  • Support the communication and execution of the company's philanthropy programs, fostering a culture of giving and community involvement.
  • Perform general HR administration tasks, including company-wide communications, document filing, data entry into HRIS, and managing employee incentives (e.g., compensation cards, gifts, raffles), along with completing necessary reports and follow-ups.
  • Provide comprehensive support to the HR team, contributing to the efficient operation and success of the HR department.
  • Engage in HR and company-wide projects as required, demonstrating flexibility and a commitment to the company's objectives and values.
  • Coordinate logistics for various HR-related events, including candidate interviews, exit interviews, and orientation sessions, ensuring smooth operation and scheduling.
  • Support the Sr. HR Generalist in the onboarding process for new hires by collecting I-9 documentation, addressing onboarding queries, and overseeing communications through both email and Paycor Recruiting to enhance the new hire experience.
  • Oversee the orientation schedule by booking venues, scheduling new employee orientations within their first month of employment, and conducting follow-ups with those not in compliance.
  • Support orientation events by preparing the venue, coordinating lunch arrangements, and assisting with the breakdown of the setup, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for new hires.
  • Additional duties may be assigned as necessary.
