About The Position

Omni Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Human Resources Admin for the beautiful Interlocken Hotel! Omni Interlocken Hotel is seeking a Human Resources Admin to join our outstanding HR team! This vital role will work closely with the Director of Human Resources to execute all operations relating to the HR, resulting in high levels of associate satisfaction. We are looking for motivated and energetic individuals who love contributing to a winning team. If you have or are pursuing a degree in Human Resources, we would love to speak with you about this role. Salary range for this position (based on experience): $25.00/hour. Full Time Associates at Omni Interlocken are entitled to elect the following benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision and other healthcare benefits, Paid Maternity Leave, 401k and Paid Time Off Accrual. Omni Interlocken reserves the right to pay more or less than listed compensation scale based on factors not related to sex or race. Requirements

  • Strong communication skills – both written and verbal required
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Previous experience in Human Resources required.
  • Willingness to learn and take on different projects.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorties, answer phone and respond to emails
  • Able to work office hours 8am/8:30am-4:30pm
  • Must be able to walk, sit, stand, squat, and lean during daily business for extended periods of time.

Nice To Haves

  • Spanish skills not required, but preferred

Responsibilities

  • Assist with various Employee enagagement oppurtunities (Filing, Recruitment, Training, Auditing etc.)
  • Attend to and anticipate internal guest’s needs (our associates)
  • Demonstrate excellent teamwork and high attention to detail
  • Ability to learn and use multiple HR systems
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment with a upbeat can-do attitude
  • Professionally and warmly meet and greet all guests to ASC
  • Provide administrative support to HR Director and HR leadership
  • Assist with the recruitment process to include data input for applicants, preparing interview packets, and various outreach initiatives
  • Maintain department logs, binders, and electronic employee files
  • Develop associate communications network within the hotel via monthly training calendar, bulletin boards, posters, and flyers.
  • Enter and maintain all associate data into the HRIS system.
  • Answer phones and email inquiries. Type memos and other correspondence.
  • Maintain orderliness of office supplies and equipment.
  • Participates in planning and execution of associate events planned by the Human Resources Department.
  • Champions Omni culture on property, and enthusiastically promotes opportunities within the hotel and company.
  • Ensure internal audit compliance.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the Human Resources Leadership
