About The Position

Whittier Rehabilitation Hospital - Westborough Human Resource Manager Full Time, 40 hours/week Monday-Friday Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 based on experience What we will ask of you: We are looking for an experienced HR Manager or HR Generalist to manage and oversee the HR functions for our Rehabilitation Hospital located in Westborough Massachusetts. Overall functions for this role will be: Counsel with department directors and facility administrator on all employee relations issues that arise Present the HR portion of monthly new employee orientation Educate all staff on process and requirements for all types of leave of absence as well as Mass Paid Leave Process all leave of absence paperwork and track required tasks throughout the employee's leave Work with department heads and employee health nurse throughout the onboarding process for new hires Process new hire paperwork to ensure they are set up in the payroll system accurately Assist with entering new hires into the time clock, providing them with key scan cards and badges Process any HR related paperwork including, but not limited to (reviews, benefit enrollment/termination, change in employment type, separations) Track important dates for employees including, but not limited to (license expiration dates, review dates, benefit eligible dates) Complete audits in the payroll system to ensure accuracy of information Consult with administrator on all wage and grade reviews Educate staff as needed on any questions they may have related to policies, benefits, leaves, etc. What you will bring with you: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Business Management/Administration 3-5 years working as an HR Manager, Assistant Manager or high level HR Generalist - Healthcare setting a plus Strong working knowledge of Massachusetts employment laws Strong working knowledge of all types of leave of absence, Mass Paid Leave and ADA Strong experience working with employees and department directors on various employee relation issues from investigation through resolution Strong computer skills including Excel and Word Experience with Asure HCM and TLM a plus Benefits Offered: 401k Paid Vacation, Sick, Holiday Medical, Dental, Vision Life and Disability policies Accident, Hospital and Critical Illness policies Flexible Spending Account Health Savings Account

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Business Management/Administration
  • 3-5 years working as an HR Manager, Assistant Manager or high level HR Generalist
  • Strong working knowledge of Massachusetts employment laws
  • Strong working knowledge of all types of leave of absence, Mass Paid Leave and ADA
  • Strong experience working with employees and department directors on various employee relation issues from investigation through resolution
  • Strong computer skills including Excel and Word
