About The Position

The Human Resource Manager position exists to help make Victory Church and Victory Montessori and Childcare Center a premier employment experience for those called to work here. This person is responsible for evaluating employee programs, recommending improvements and making sure that all employee-related policies in each department align with our church goals and vision and non-profit regulations. The Human Resource Manager has a business mind and a ministry heart.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • 3+ years experience in a human resources supervisory position or business management role
  • Demonstrated ability to improve employee morale
  • General knowledge of office management and dynamics, including equipment and personnel
  • Experience in HR and legal areas, preferably in a non-profit business environment
  • Professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • General proficiency with Mac applications and BambooHR.
  • Detail oriented, with an understanding of the big picture
  • Must agree with and represent Victory Church’s Statement of Faith
  • Must Live in Colorado as you will be required to be in office occasionally.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all the HR of Victory Church and Victory Montessori and Childcare Center including but not limited to: employee files and records, benefits, insurance, retirement accounts and all other human resources related items.
  • Review benefits and insurance polices with employees and communicate next steps with accounting department.
  • Oversee payroll processing and updates, approving hours, salary and benefits adjustments, etc.
  • Review and approve payroll reports to ensure consistency and accuracy.
  • Perform new hire orientation process with each new hire and off boarding processes with each transitioning employee.
  • Deliver compensation and benefit comparison reports to the execute team regularly to make recommendations for improvements.
  • Act as liaison between the company and outside legal and professional resources to ensure that all employment policies follow current laws and regulations.
  • Set up annual benefit packages and enroll eligible employees.
