About The Position

The Human Resources Generalist supports the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources department through the administration of HR programs, policies, procedures, and employee services. This role partners with leaders and employees to support talent acquisition, onboarding, employee relations, leave administration, compensation, compliance, and organizational development initiatives.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for reporting and data analysis
  • Advanced Canva skills for developing recruitment and communication materials
  • Strong understanding of employment laws, including FMLA, ADA, and EEO
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required
  • Minimum of 5 years of Human Resources experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of recruitment/talent acquisition experience
  • Experience in employee relations, onboarding, leave administration, compliance, HRIS systems, and applicant tracking systems required

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree and PHR/SHRM certification preferred
  • Healthcare HR/recruitment experience strongly preferred

  • Maintain knowledge of departmental and organizational policies and procedures.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of workplace safety, fire safety, hazardous communication programs, and organizational compliance standards.
  • Plan, implement/lead activities related to fostering organization wide knowledge and compliance of the JCAHO Human Resource Chapter, including preparation of Report to the governing Body.
  • Promote the mission, vision, values, and culture of the organization through positive employee engagement and service excellence.
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned.
