About The Position

The Human Resource Generalist supports daily HR operations by partnering with leadership and employees to drive effective recruitment, employee relations, compliance, and HR administration. This role manages hiring support, onboarding and offboarding, payroll coordination, and personnel records while ensuring compliance with employment laws and company standards. The HR Generalist serves as a trusted resource to both field and office teams, helping reinforce company culture and core values. This role directly contributes to creating value for our customers, our team, and our business.

Responsibilities

  • Process weekly payroll accurately and on time
  • Review payroll and resolve discrepancies
  • Verify timekeeping records and coordinate corrections
  • Maintain payroll records in compliance with applicable laws
  • Manage new hire paperwork, including I-9 and E-Verify compliance
  • Coordinate orientation, system setup, and benefits enrollment
  • Ensure new hires are prepared and integrated effectively
  • Process resignations and terminations
  • Coordinate final pay and benefits notifications
  • Maintain compliant separation documentation
  • Post job openings and screen applicants
  • Schedule interviews and support hiring managers
  • Prepare offer letters and hiring documentation
  • Maintain accurate hiring and applicant records
  • Respond to employee questions regarding policies, benefits, and procedures
  • Address employee concerns and complaints professionally and promptly
  • Assist leadership with performance management and employee relations
  • Ensure proper documentation of disciplinary actions and terminations
  • Maintain accurate personnel files and HRIS records
  • Ensure compliance with FLSA, EEOC, OSHA, and applicable regulations
  • Oversee I-9 and personnel file compliance
  • Support audits and internal investigations
  • Administer employee benefits
  • Promote and reinforce company core values in daily interactions
  • Support employee recognition and engagement initiatives
  • Assist leadership in building a strong, values-driven culture
  • Coordinate training, certifications, and required licensing
  • Support leadership development initiatives
