About The Position

The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) plays a critical role in supporting a dynamic manufacturing environment by delivering strategic and operational HR expertise across multiple functional areas. This role encompasses talent acquisition, HRIS administration, health and wellness benefits, policy and procedure development, training and development, employee relations, AA/EEO compliance, and labor relations. The ideal candidate will bring a strong analytical mindset, a passion for manufacturing HR, and the ability to influence and support senior leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required. Prefer concentration in Human Resources Management, Business, Organizational Communication, or Industrial Psychology.
  • Minimum of three years of HR experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven ability to analyze complex data sets and translate insights into actionable HR strategies.
  • Demonstrated success in supporting and influencing senior-level leaders.
  • High level of discretion and professionalism in handling confidential information.
  • Strong project management and team leadership capabilities.
  • Exercises judgment based on multiple sources of information.
  • Proficient in MS office, HRIS and other software programs.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Willingness and ability to travel as needed

Responsibilities

  • Acts as strategic business partner to functional leaders of management, coaching, career development, disciplinary actions and employee relations
  • Manage the talent acquisition process internally and externally. Participates in employee onboarding and conducting new hire orientation.
  • Oversee and manage talent management processes including performance management, succession planning and top talent identification. Lead training of the performance management process.
  • Manages the HRIS system, including accurate payroll records and data entry.
  • Provide consultative support on health and wellness benefits, compensation, and corporate programs to employees at all levels.
  • Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance HR policies and procedures aligned with business needs and compliance requirements.
  • Investigate and resolve employee relations issues using sound judgment and adherence to legal and ethical standards.
  • Champion employee engagement and wellness initiatives tailored to the manufacturing workforce.
  • Conduct exit interviews and manage offboarding processes to ensure smooth transitions.
  • Administer unemployment claims and workers' compensation cases with accuracy and empathy.
  • Facilitate training programs and oversee performance management across all employee levels.
  • Support labor relations activities including grievance handling, contract interpretation, and negotiations; provide daily coaching to managers.
  • Manage Visa/PERM process for internal employees and new hires.
  • Assists with Affirmative Action Planning and all required updates, reporting and documentation and ensuring all federal and state requirements are met.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate and customer standards such as TS16949 and ISO14001.
  • Maintain current federal and state labor law postings across all locations.
  • May be required to perform duties other than those specified in this description.
