About The Position

The Human Resource Coordinator supports daily HR operations and administrative functions while assisting with compliance, benefit administration, attendance monitoring, and record audits. This position works closely with the HR Generalist to ensure accurate documentation, regulatory compliance, and efficient HR processes. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and eager to develop within the Human Resources field.

Requirements

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
  • 1 to 2 years of HR experience or 3 to 5 years of administrative experience
  • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Knowledge of HR processes, benefits administration, and compliance basics
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Experience with attendance tracking systems and benefits platforms
  • Familiarity with employment laws and HR compliance requirements
  • Experience supporting HR audits or compliance reviews
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Proficient in HRIS systems, Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
  • Must be physically able to stand, walk, sit, crouch, kneel, climb, and periodically lift 25 pounds
  • Ability to receive an Arsenal Badge
  • Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the HR Generalist in day-to-day HR operations.
  • Maintain employee personnel files in compliance with federal, state, and company requirements.
  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring all documentation is completed and filed properly.
  • Prepare employment-related documents including verification letters and internal forms.
  • Support internal HR communications and employee inquires.
  • Assist in monitoring employee attendance and timekeeping records.
  • Conduct periodic audits of timekeeping systems to ensure accuracy and policy compliance.
  • Report discrepancies and support corrective documentation as needed.
  • Maintain organized records of attendance tracking and audit results.
  • Track attendance trends and provide summaries or reports to Human Resource leadership
  • Assist with benefits enrollments, changes, and terminations
  • Audit benefit eligibility documentation and enrollment records
  • Help maintain accurate benefit files and supporting documentation
  • Coordinate follow-up on missing or incomplete benefit forms.
  • Support open enrollment preparation and communications
  • Assist with internal HR audits related to policies, procedures, and regulatory compliance
  • Ensure HR practices align with company policies and applicable employment laws.
  • Maintain required documentation for audits and inspections
  • Track required certifications, licenses, and documentation renewals.
  • Help ensure HR practices align with federal and state employment regulations.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information
  • Prepare HR reports and maintain tracking logs as directed
  • Assist with data entry and updates within HRIS systems
  • Organize and maintain audit documentation and compliance records.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as required to support organizational goals.
