Our Winnipeg office is seeking a new Junior HR Coordinator to join our Human Resources team! The Human Resources Coordinator provides administrative and operational support to the Human Resources department across a broad range of HR functions. This role supports full-cycle recruitment, onboarding and offboarding, HR systems and records maintenance, policy and job description development, training initiatives, and internal HR communications.

Requirements

  • Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and related recruitment tools
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and organization skills and strong attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Ability to act with integrity and professionalism
  • Understand and maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • Strong computer skills (word, excel, power point, outlook)

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of ADP Workforce Now and ADP Total Source, an advantage.
  • 1–2 years of progressive HR experience with generalist exposure

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and support full-cycle recruitment, including job postings, candidate screening, interview coordination, and communication with hiring managers and candidates
  • Manage onboarding processes, including offer letters, background checks, drug screening, new hire documentation, and orientation activities
  • Responsible for offboarding, scheduling exit interviews, obtaining asset lists and finalizing employee departure and advising payroll accordingly
  • Maintains various HR related records, such as files, payroll reporting, HR payroll systems, etc.
  • May provide back-up support to the current payroll and benefits personnel, and learn all aspects of payroll processing for both Canada and US.
  • Create or revise job descriptions as required
  • Assist with the creation, revision, and release of HR policies, procedures, and forms in accordance with quality document control processes.
  • Responsible for updating the organizational chart and HR documents on the company intranet, etc.
  • Provide administrative support to HR team as needed
  • Learn and utilize HR-related tools, systems, applications and software.
  • Support company training initiatives and related projects
