About The Position

The Department of Transportation and Public Facilities (DOT&PF) Program Management and Administration is looking for a Recruitment Human Resource Consultant 1 located in Juneau or Anchorage to help us Keep Alaska Moving! In this position, the incumbent will oversee, develop, and implement training on recruitment services to all DOT recruitment staff, division recruitment coordinators, and hiring managers; serve as the NEOGOV troubleshooter for both recruitment staff and applicants; review and recommend Advanced Step Placements and Nexus determinations; provide consultation to department staff in addressing recruitment, selection, and retention issues such as effective recruitment strategies and legally defensible selection; and provide backup recruitment services for staff when necessary for hire approvals, postings, extensions, questions, and guidance.
