About The Position

Dr. Kristina Petersen’s lab in the Department of Nutritional Sciences is seeking a Human Research Technologist to support externally funded clinical trials investigating dietary interventions and risk factors for heart disease and diabetes. This position will support the coordination of clinical trials conducted in the lab.

Requirements

  • Prior experience conducting human subjects research (required)
  • Reliability and a proactive approach to assigned responsibilities
  • Strong task-management and organizational skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a research team
  • Strong organizational and time-management skill.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience with clinical trial coordination (highly desired)

Responsibilities

  • Coordinating participant recruitment
  • Conducting telephone and clinic-based screenings
  • Coordinating data collection visits
  • Scheduling participant visits
  • Managing participant flow throughout the trials
  • Completing research-related administrative tasks
