About The Position

Multiple openings for day or evening schedules. This role manages the preparation, distribution, and inventory of Human Milk (HM) and Donor Human Milk (DHM). Responsibilities include collecting and processing human milk according to established protocols, labeling and storing milk, monitoring and maintaining inventory, cleaning and sanitizing equipment, ordering and stocking nutrition room supplies, and monitoring refrigerator and freezer temperatures.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent, required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of computer and software.
• Exhibit basic mathematical skills.
• Ability to understand and interpret basic medical terminologies.
• OCCASIONALLY: Bend/twist, Lifting / Carrying: 0-10 lbs
• FREQUENTLY: Blood and/or Bodily Fluids, Computer skills, Hand use: grasping, gripping, turning, Problem solving, Reaching above shoulder, Sitting, Walking
• CONTINUOUSLY: Color vision, Depth perception, Interpreting Data, Peripheral vision, Standing

Responsibilities

• Collects and processes human milk according to established protocols.
• Labels and stores human milk in appropriate containers and locations.
• Monitors and maintains inventory of human milk and supplies.
• Cleans and sanitizes equipment and work areas.
• Monitors daily inventory and orders additional nutrition room supplies as needed, stocks nutrition room with all needed supplies.
• Monitors refrigerator and freezer temperatures and notifies engineering for assessment of potential/actual problems.
