Work to specify how user input and interaction mechanisms work and push to innovate those concepts across products. Create a user interface that makes conversion simple, even when the feature is complex. Contribute and maintain a design system, providing logic and rules for a variety of use cases. Work in a studio environment and participate in individual and group critiques. Understand customer goals, business requirements, and technical constraints, and work within project parameters. Participate in QA as it pertains to content and file bugs as necessary. Work with the Human Interface team to solve UI challenges in response to product requirements and the Engineering team to ensure design quality by auditing implementation during development, upholding the Apple design principles. Work alongside designers, product managers, engineers, and cross-functional teams to ensure a successful product for both our business and our customers.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Human Computer Interaction or related field
  • 2 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation
  • 2 years of experience conducting quality assurance (QA) processes for content, identifying and documenting bugs as necessary
  • 2 years of experience collaborating with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive problem resolution
  • 2 years of experience informing product decisions on customer goals, analyzing customer feedback, building data pipelines and dashboards, and synthesizing insights
  • 2 years of experience developing interfaces by monitoring direct customer feedback, A/B testing, and building data pipelines and analytics dashboards for experiments
  • 2 years of experience creating prototypes through code to communicate design concepts and interactions
  • 2 years of experience using code HTML, CSS or JavaScript to build high-fidelity designs
  • 2 years of experience using software development patterns and understanding of software architecture to assess technical feasibility during the design process
  • 2 years of experience designing color, keyboard, and screen reader accessibility as per Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG)
  • 2 years of experience documenting production specifications/redlines
  • 2 years of experience communicating interaction, visual elements, patterns, and motion details to engineering
