Requirements
- Experience with affordable housing and HUD compliance standards
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local Fair Housing laws and regulations
- Excellent communication skills in person, through email, and via Teams
- Dependable and reliable attendance
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Must have the ability to pass a background check

- Prior experience as a property manager for 100+ units
- Customer service experience

Responsibilities
- Guide applicants through the rental process
- Collaborate with the Muskegon Housing Commission
- Ensure compliance with HUD and Fair Housing requirements
- Coordinate lease signings and welcome new residents
- Oversee maintenance activities to ensure work orders, preventative maintenance, and unit turnovers stay on track
- Supervise an office/leasing assistant
- Provide direction to the maintenance team
- Maintain a high standard of customer service for residents and visitors
