The position also involves managing hub-related expenses to maximize profitability, maintaining an organized delivery area, and scheduling employees to ensure adequate coverage while adhering to payroll budgets. Additionally, the supervisor is responsible for maintaining monthly work schedules, ensuring proper timekeeping, monitoring route schedules, and communicating any delays. Collaboration with the store manager is expected for route coverage in the absence of regular supervisors or specialists, and for vehicle maintenance and inspections. The role includes providing performance input for evaluations, assisting in the hiring process, and ensuring all new driver training and pre-employment requirements are met.
