Hub Integrator

PVM IncMooresville, AL

About The Position

PVM is opening its first hub in Huntsville, and we're looking for the person to run it. The Hub Integrator is the operational leader of the Huntsville Hub — the person who runs it like a mini-business. You'll own the hub's people, processes, standards, goals, and P&L. And because you're the first, you're not just filling this seat — you're designing it. What you build becomes the template for every hub PVM opens after this one. If you've run a team, a department, or a business unit end-to-end — and you like building the plane while flying it — keep reading. What This Role Is Think of it as a scaled-down version of a company Integrator, focused entirely on the hub: driving execution, holding people accountable, and protecting operating discipline day to day. What This Role Is Not We want to be upfront about this, because the seat gets confused with a few others: Not Business Development. Sales, pipeline, and customer expansion sit with a separate hub seller. Not Marketing. Brand and demand generation are owned at headquarters. Not Delivery Leadership. Delivery is HQ-owned; a local delivery lead will emerge as the hub matures. Not Talent Strategy. Workforce strategy and culture-building sit with HQ. Not office management or admin support. This is an operating-leader seat with real P&L accountability.

Requirements

  • 7+ years in an operating-leadership role — Director of Operations, General Manager, Business Unit Lead, Chief of Staff with real operational authority, or similar
  • Direct P&L or contribution-margin accountability in a past role
  • A track record of managing 3+ direct reports for at least 2 years
  • Experience establishing and running a consistent weekly operating rhythm
  • Strong people judgment — you can assess fit and act on it
  • Based in the Huntsville region or willing to relocate; this is an on-site, in-person role
  • Comfort with government/defense contracting, or genuine willingness to learn it fast
  • U.S. citizenship, with the ability to obtain and hold a security clearance

Nice To Haves

  • Direct experience with EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) — V/TO, L10 meetings, Rocks, Scorecards
  • Prior operating role in a growing services company in the $5–25M revenue range
  • Experience in defense, intelligence, or national security contracting
  • Familiarity with Palantir or comparable forward-deployed engineering delivery models
  • Experience standing up a regional or field office
  • An active or recent security clearance

Responsibilities

  • People at the hub. Lead, manage, and hold your team accountable. Make the hard calls on whether someone's in the right seat — and act on it.
  • Processes at the hub. Document how things work so nothing lives in one person's head. The next hub you help open should be able to inherit what you've built.
  • Standards at the hub. Hold the line on quality and values — distance from HQ is not an excuse to lower the bar.
  • Goals at the hub. Own the hub's quarterly priorities and its 1- and 3-year commitments. Turn the big-picture plan into what the team actually does this quarter.
  • Operating rhythm. Run a consistent weekly cadence — scorecards, priorities, issues, follow-through — and keep it in sync with the hub seller and PVM's Integrator.
  • The P&L. Know your numbers cold. Drive margin as the hub matures. Hit the plan, or flag early if you won't.
