About The Position

AutoZone is seeking a customer-focused Hub Driver to make efficient, on-time deliveries while supporting commercial customers and store operations. The driver uses company-provided vehicles to transport automotive parts; no CDL is required. The role also includes customer service and product assistance in the store between deliveries, plus returns, restocking, vehicle checks, and support for store merchandising standards.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and meet AutoZone driver safety requirements.
• Basic knowledge of automotive parts is required.
• Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
• Availability for a full-time flexible schedule, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
• Previous automotive retail experience.
• Valid Hazardous Materials (Hazmat) endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, professional service during deliveries and communicate effectively with customers.
• Collaborate with store managers, teammates, and commercial customers to support smooth operations.
• Follow structured delivery processes, maintain accurate and on-time routes, and comply with fleet safety guidelines.
• Drive company vehicles to deliver automotive parts to commercial customers and AutoZone stores, and maintain delivery documentation.
• Follow company policies, safety protocols, and fleet PPE guidelines to support accident-free transportation.
• Complete daily vehicle checklists, keep vehicles clean, and promptly report maintenance issues.
• Support store merchandising standards as needed.
• Pick up returns, process merchandise, and restock items from route deliveries accurately and efficiently.
• Assist DIY customers in-store between deliveries by helping locate merchandise, providing product knowledge, and offering installation services.
• Stay informed about current automotive promotions through AutoZone systems.
