About The Position

AutoZone is hiring a Hub Driver to make efficient, on-time deliveries of automotive parts to commercial customers and AutoZone stores. Drivers use company-provided vehicles; a CDL is not required. The role also supports store operations, including assisting DIY customers between deliveries, processing returns, restocking merchandise, and helping maintain merchandising standards. Drivers follow delivery procedures and fleet safety requirements, document deliveries, complete daily vehicle checklists, keep vehicles clean, and report maintenance issues. The position requires a full-time flexible schedule, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet AutoZone’s driver safety requirements.
• Basic knowledge of automotive parts.
• Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
• Availability for a full-time flexible schedule, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
• Previous experience in automotive retail.
• Valid Hazardous Materials (Hazmat) endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, professional service during deliveries and communicate effectively with customers.
• Collaborate with store managers, teammates, and commercial customers to support smooth operations.
• Follow structured delivery processes and fleet safety guidelines to complete accurate, on-time routes.
• Drive company vehicles to transport automotive parts to commercial customers and AutoZone stores, and maintain delivery documentation.
• Follow company policies, safety protocols, and fleet PPE guidelines to support accident-free transportation.
• Complete daily vehicle checklists, maintain vehicle cleanliness, promptly report maintenance issues, and support store merchandising standards as needed.
• Pick up returns, process merchandise, and accurately restock items from route deliveries.
• Assist DIY customers in-store between deliveries by helping locate merchandise, sharing product knowledge, and offering installation services.
• Stay informed about current automotive promotions through AutoZone systems.
