About The Position

AutoZone is seeking a customer-focused Hub Driver to make efficient, on-time deliveries while supporting commercial customers and store operations. The driver uses company-provided vehicles to transport automotive parts safely and professionally; a CDL is not required. Between deliveries, the role may include assisting in-store DIY customers and supporting merchandising, returns, and restocking. Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must have a valid driver's license and comply with AutoZone's driver safety requirements.
• Basic knowledge of automotive parts is required.
• Must be able to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
• Flexible schedule availability, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
• Previous experience in automotive retail.
• A valid Hazardous Materials (Hazmat) endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, professional service during deliveries and communicate effectively with customers.
• Build customer relationships and collaborate with store managers, teammates, and commercial customers to support smooth operations.
• Follow delivery processes, complete accurate and timely routes, and comply with fleet safety guidelines.
• Drive company vehicles to deliver automotive parts to commercial customers and AutoZone stores, maintaining proper delivery documentation.
• Follow company policies, safety protocols, and fleet PPE guidelines to support accident-free transportation.
• Complete daily vehicle checklists, keep vehicles clean, and promptly report maintenance issues.
• Support store merchandising standards as needed.
• Pick up returns, process merchandise, and efficiently and accurately restock items from route deliveries.
• Assist DIY customers in-store between deliveries by helping locate merchandise, providing product knowledge, and offering installation services.
• Stay informed about current automotive promotions through AutoZone systems.
• Lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
